Harrington acts as Chief Financial Officer of NSB Associates, providing
business strategy planning and financial and tax advice. He serves on the
boards of directors of several firms and holds a number of consulting positions,
including positions with other real estate entities. Mr. Harrington was previously associated with PricewaterhouseCoopers, most recently holding the position of Managing Partner, West Region Real Estate Services which included real estate consulting in a variety of areas. He has also held management positions with regional and office responsibilities within PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mr. Harrington chaired an eleven volume 1994 study covering long term real estate trends for the western region of the United States. He also developed a worldwide statistical program to identify and calculate depreciation and investment tax credit for a major leasing company resulting in tax savings to the company of over $20 million. Mr. Harrington has been a lecturer at the University of California at Los Angeles, a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and a licensed California real estate broker. He serves on the boards of a variety of charitable organizations. He is a graduate of Minnesota State University (Bachelor of Science, Math and Science 1961) and the University of California at Los Angeles (MBA 1965). |
